Honeywell PDE Stock Transfer
Connecting to a Network
Setting up a Honeywell Wi-Fi connection has the same procedure as connecting an android phone to a Wi-Fi signal.
- Turn on device.
- Go into Settings on the device.
- In “Wireless & Networks” press Wi-Fi
- Enter in password on desired Network.
Things to note.
- Before you do anything (New Movement) please log out of the SwiftPos Stock Management app, re-open the application, and then log back in using your designated clerk I.D and password
- All Honeywell devices that are supplied by HDS should have two applications installed, those being SwiftPos Stock management and TeamViewer, if these applications are not on the Honeywell, please contact Support@harrisdata.com.au or call 0412 041 222

Starting a Stock Take
- If not in “New Movement” tab, press the three lines button located to the top left corner of the application (menu button)
- Select the tab “New Movement”
- In the “New Movement” tab here is where you can select the Movement Type
- Select Stocktake
- “Reference” this where you can give it a title or a number
- “From Location” this determines where you are initialising the transfer too
- “To Location” this determines where you are transferring the stock too
- After you enter in details of said Transfer, press “create”
- This is where you scan products in the “Barcode” section.
- The “Quantity” is where you put how many of the said product.
- After you fill out the “Barcode” and “Quantity” either press the add button to the side of the screen or enter key found on the keypad
- The “Match” button is used when the barcode hasn’t been added to the product in the system, hit this button and you will be able to search for the product that you want this barcode to be attached to the said product.
- The “Clear” button is used to clear the entered in barcode or quantity before being added to the stocktake.
- The “History” button is used to view what’s in the stocktake before committing it so you can make the changes needed.
- When committing a stock take you must ALWAYS export it, this means if something does go wrong there is a backup of it.
- This back up is stored in /storage/emulated/0/Download/, this is found in the Files App on
the Honeywell
- After Step 13 is complete, this is when you can “Submit” the stocktake in the ´In progress” tab
- The next steps are done on a computers Back Office, not on the Honeywell
- Before committing, please check if you need to print any reports prior to committing the stocktake
- Also, this is the last time you can check and make sure before committing the Stocktake
- If you have submitted the stocktake on the Honeywell, it will be sitting in back office waiting for it to be committed
- On Back office in the Inventory tab click Stocktake & Period End (Inventory > Stocktake & Period end)
